Hi Everybody... A silly question perhaps... but I hear I will probably be carrying a water bottle with me everywhere I go... That's good and dandy... But let me ask... Does anyone know of an "optimum" water bottle? I mean: 1. one that allows you to sip WITHOUT sucking air (I tried my daughter's sippy cup and I had to suck air to get a sip.. NOT good! 2. one that you do not easily forget here and there... 3. one that you can easily carry around when you are driving, at the office, at the movies, etc.... Hopefully, there is such a bottle... Otherwise, I am sure someone will take the idea an patent it.... Thanks everyone!... Neil

I just buy Sam's 20oz bottle waters from WalMart. 12 count is $2.50. This way it's already measured for me and I know how much I'm drinking every day. You'll find your niche that will work well for you, the important thing is to just keep sipping. Laurie

Neil, I bought a couple of different "Sports Bottles" from Walmart, But my favorite was just a 16 or 20oz Dasani bottle of water (with the "Sports Tip" That I kept refilling. Works great, and is inconspicuous Among "Civilians." Best Wishes- Dx

Dx, be careful with re-using the water bottles w/caps. They say the caps tend to harbor a lot of bacteria and you must almost sterilize them to kill it. I used to re-use my Propel bottles after washing them, of course, but no more.

I tend to buy the cases of bottled water and debvide it between home, work, and my car so I have water available anywhere I am. It's just nice to keep it handy.

When I drink water, the bottle it comes in is what I carry. I think it is possible to overthink this... not that I'm not prone to overthinking things... and I guess I have thought too much abou****er containers... and this sentence... it just seems to go on and on... no****er bottles... the sentence... well, water bottles too... is there a way out of this???... I like the pop top ones. Like the ones you'd see people having on their bikes. That's my favorite to carry about, but I prefer to drink my water from a straw. A lot don't tho. It's personal preferance.

I picked up one I like at Walmart for 3-4 bucks. They are 22oz. with a belt clip and sealing flip lid. The cover screws off so you can put ice cubes in if you desire. Unbreakable, different colors and fits in the car and diswasher just fine. I think they had a bigger one, too.
