Flu Shots ok?

I have my RYN on December 7 and am afraid I got kind of pushy about getting a flu shot before going to the hospital. The doctor said the actual flu season does get bad until March. Good Luck, Carol

Let me tell you, I got the Flu last year (I was 10 months out from surgery) I spent a total of 10 days in the hospital. Because of the throwing up they were trying to make sure it was the flu and not a problem with bypass surgery. The tests!! Oh my God! They were worse then the flu!!! I urge all of you who are able to GET THE FLU SHOT (if your doc says it is okay) It was the sickest I have ever been in my life! I have been one of those people who has been in and out of the hospital since I was a kid, never have I been so sick! Get the shot! Sarah 450/215/175ish?
