Medic Alert Bracelets.....

Some time ago I remember seeing a post regarding Medic Alert Bracelets, at the time I didnt put much stock in it, I couldnt for the life of me understand why WLS patients would need this, but since my surgery it has become keenly aware to me why we need this.... If someone can refer me to a website, or to the person or persons that may be affiliated with OH that knows about the bracelets, I would be forever in your debt.... Thank you

I got mine from www.medicalert.org. I really like the service they provide as well as the bracelets. You get a membership number that is engraved on your bracelet as well as your most important medical information. By using this number emergency personel can get a lot of information about you. Well, at least what you have entered into MedicAlert's records. This includes any major medical info along with your medication and supplimentation history. This is very useful in making decisions for what drugs may need to be administered in the field and in the hospital. Also if you are traveling, they can get a hold of your doctors and family if need be. Hope you find one you like! Keetara

I just bought one this weekend on Ebay. It is the stainless steel necklace with a pendant about the size of a nickel. Cost me all of $13 with shipping.
