GETTING TO KNOW YOU...
1. Hubby & I will be going to my parent's home that is about a 45 minute drive from my home.
2. 10 although we will have 17 for Christmas dinner
3. Yes, I like turkey but sometimes my pouch doesn't like turkey. My favorite dish is filling, and not the filling that you are familiar with. Pennsylvania Dutch filling is mashed potatoes mixed with sauteed celery and onion in a ton of butter, salt and pepper and a few slices of bread that is cubed. Put a few pats of butter on top of the potatoes and bake in the oven until a light crust forms. I go on step further and add some garlic powder to the vegetables while I am sauteeing them.
4. I hate to say this but it is my triplet nieces. It takes the phase of the moon to determine what type of mood they will be in. They have behavorial issues and are as mean as a rattle snake in a hail storm! If they were my kids they wouldn't have the opportunity to be as mean as they are, they would be in military school!
5. I am thankful for my friends, my family and my health!
LOL, I read your profile and see you are a 'bleeding heart liberal' and would send your neices to military school. I'm another bleeding heart liberal and always threatened one of my sons with Valley Forge Military Academy. He turned out alright without it. It is a wonder what time and maturity will cure. BTW, I'm as liberal as they come, yet had a career as an army girl.

and don't you dare move back to MI before we meet. Oh and I believe we are rescheduling for Dec 1, mark your calendar.
hugs,
Hey there! I was over at the mall this weekend and thought of you. I wished I had your # I could have come and picked you up! So what is wrong with your van? Listen, my husband fixes cars he's not a mechanic but may as well be, he's very talented in that area, lets put it this way we haven't had our vehicles to a mechanic once in almost 5 years...and we've had alot of opportunities! Although our intrepid has been broke down for waaaaay to long...but that's more due to lack of time rather than lack of talent! Anyway, he always likes to help out anyway he can in that area and i know your a single mom so if you have an idea what is wrong with it, let me know and I'll talk to him....ok? Toledo's not that far most jobs can be done in a few hours to a day!
Let me know about that date for the meeting!
Marcy
Morning, Marcy!
1. No, we don't like to travel on the holidays, by car anyway.
2. Just me and DH. Then we are going to my mom's with a plate and her own leftovers, she will be delighted and surprised with having her own leftovers.
3. Yes, I love turkey - dark meat when it's hot - white meat when it's cold.
4. I so rarely get to see them as they are scattered across the country.
5. My DH, my DD and my grandchildren. Also, that all is going smoothly for WLS in late January, I want my health and life back!!
Joyous Holidays,
Holly
