Fit to Fat to Fit
Tivo'ed it.
I mus****ch it. i MUST be honest. I had a very bad emotional reaction watching the sneak peak online. There are some of us that WERE a normal size, got MO (i.e. FAT) and had to do surgery to get back to fit...
BAsically, why didnt that asshole producer just write some to us? I could tell them what it was like to be normal..get fat...try everythign to get it off..and how society (and trainers!!!) judge the MO.
Some pretty boy didnt need to damage his health for the sake of a better paycheck and ratings to "convey the info" that he claims needs to be conveyed.
Now watch, I will probably watch it and love it.

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !
Yep. And the thing is-do they have the underlying metabolic imbalances/tendencies/genetics/food addictions that the MO have that make the MO fat in the first place?
NO.
So I dont think they are really going to "understand" any better after than they did before.

Absolutely. Gain it quick and lose it quick, there is minimal struggle, and no understanding. Become morbidly obese, on purpose, and come back in ten years. That would be a show worth watching.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
That is exactly what I was thinking... let them be fat for 5 or 10 years and then say how easy it is to take the weight off...

I'm guessing this show is some kind of gimmicky fad shock em type of show, & I can't help but think is another pot shot at people who've had wls. Sorry purposely gaining weight to lose it with me is not walking a mile in my shoes.
To get obese, usually food fills an emotional component that the trainers have not or are going thru. To me this show implies its a simple thing to gain weight & a simple thing to lose it, not to mention it emphasizes the work the fat off thru exercise rather than work at changing your eating habits for life as well as tackle the mental hurdles people went thru to get that big in the first place.
No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another. T-Rebel
On another thought. They could have just interviewed MOTHERS. Seriously...some women are thin...get pregnant...get bigger..have the kid...struggle to get the baby weight off.
I think I would have preferred to watch that.
At least the pregnant mom's physiology made them heavier and motivated them to eat and gave them cravings.
This trainer just stuffing his face with whatever for the sake of ratings to get fat...makes me more and more angry.
I think I am going to really hate this show!
