Does this happen to everybody because I always see people talking about this it is kinda getting me nerves because I am at the point where people start saying they have a stall.

I still have not seen none of this but just wondering if this has happen to everybody.

In in the middle of a stall right now at 5 months post op. I had one at the weeks, abs one way about 3 months.  I'm just waiting now. I'm sticking to my plan and know I have to start losing again soon.

I didn't have any stalls until a few months out from surgery. Everyone is different. The nice thing about everyone posting about stalling is that when it does happen, you know it is normal and you are not alone :)

It depends on how you define a stall. I never had a week in which I didn't lose at least a little.

I had many stalls during my weight loss. The first started after 1 week and lasted 3 1/2 weeks. I had 2 week stalls in months 3 and 5. After 6 months I frequently had weeks I didn't lose but not necessarily back to back.

Nothing to be nervous about...they happen and you will get past it.

I don't know if I've had any true stalls, but I lose in a stair step pattern (lose a lot some weeks; lose none or even gain others). The farther out I get though, the longer and shallower each of those steps gets. Some people stall for long periods (6+ weeks) then start losing again. That hasn't happened to me yet.

I can't say I've ever had a true stall. I've always lost/gained on the scale & whenever it didn't move I usually lost in inches and I felt a difference in how my clothes fit. Any "stall" I might have had was tied to how I was eating & usually that had to change. So my calorie count has gone down as I went down in size., along with the carbs.

Even during my few stalls I could tell I was getting and losing inches. So if you do have a stall don't worry it's just your body adjusting too your new lifestyle.

I never experienced a stall---because I didn't own any scales. (*grin*)  I ONLY weighted at my doctor's office, every three months. How often you weigh isn't going to affect how fast you lose, just how you feel about it.

Thanks so much to all you guys I love getting some words of encouragement.

I like that I have not had a stall and with your word I wont even care if I get one thanks you guys.

At first I though I that is was a big deal but now I see that it just passes.
