I have it. I use it maybe once or twice a year... I was expected to use it often, but it is bulky, big.. And hasle to clean it... Maybe one day..

But I do love my pressure cooker... (electric).. Set it and forget. it.food ready in no time..

it is the kind of thing that works if you have a specific place for it and it is not cluttering your kitchen.  I visited a family over the holidays that has every kitchen gadget ever sold on QVC, HSN and infomercials.  Their kitchen is cluttered and messy and I went home and cleared some things off of my countertops that I rarely use.

Once a year I go through the kitchen drawers.  I move items that I have not used to a storage area in the basement.  If I need the item it can come back to the kitchen.  Almost nothing ever comes back permanently.  I might take them out for a party or project but if they are not used at least once a month they stay in the cellar.

For $12 I would play with the Nuwave and see if it is something that will be used enough to allow it to take up kitchen room.

I'm going to try it out, apparently it dehydrates foods too, so might be worth it.

Worst case I will sell it- lol

Hi there.  We have two Nuwaves.  One in the house and one in our camper.  They are bulky and difficult to store, but I have room (well in my atrium window behind the curtain!) ha ha....we love ours.  All the fat drips to the bottom.  It's great for fatty meats/foods that you don't want to necessarily grill.  Was worth the money to me, but everyone is different.  Doesn't seem to heat up the house as much as our traditional oven.  I think I still prefer the crock pot over the nuwave though.
