Fun NSV - license weight

Most women have 125 on their driver's license.

I have literally never had 125 on my license because I cannot remember ever being 125! I knew I was being way dishonest with 250...

That's awesome!  My license weight was 265.  I was trying to be honest, but not doing a very good job.  I have a kind of funny story about the discrepancy between the license picture and real life.  Several years ago, I had lost 100 lbs via a Dr monitored weight loss program.  Go to their classes, eat their food etc.  My husband and I were at Disneyland and I'd bought a few things at the Emporium on Main Street and the cast member asked me for my DL when I paid.  She looked at it and looked at me and exclaimed at the changes along the line of "Ooooh girl!"  She made me do a little turn in place and everything and was very congratulatory.  It cracked me up.  Now I can't wait for that license to expire!

Last summer my PCP was discussing all the exciting changes I would experience over the next year after my WLS. He said that one thing I would be able to do is change my listed weight on my driver's license. I looked at him and said, "no, I will finally weigh what my driver's license says, 110 pounds." He didn't believe that my license said that so I pulled it out and showed him. We had a huge laugh over this.

Many, many years ago when I renewed my license, the BMV clerk asked me if all the info on my old license was correct. I said it was. He look up at me and said, "really?" I said, "yes". End of conversation. My weight has always been stable, I can prove it...just look at any of my driver's license. I've been 110 pounds ever since 1966, when I was 16 and got my first license.

Last time I went to have my DL pic taken I went and had my haircut and blown out first, (I needed it) and then went to the DMV...made the pic so much better... Now my passport pic is hideous and right before I started losing weight. I let them take it at the post office, and I didn't look at it before she finished the paperwork.

NY doesn't require weights on your License... thank God.
