I'm watching season 2 of my 600 pound life on Hulu plus,  and the commercial that plays while the show starts is for Dunkin Donuts. Seriously?

On the way home from the hospital today I felt like Zsaylnn lol, we decided to stop at a Pilot gas station to fill up and take bathroom breaks.. I meet my mom back at the car and she has a bag of McDonalds and a box with Cinnabon, I just shook my head.

That's the episode I jus****ched.  Her husband was a huge douchebag. I hope she left him.  She was so awesome.

If Zsaylyn is the one who's husband wanted her to stay fat, yes she did divorce him.  Thank goodness.  Even her daughter wanted her to move out and questioned why her mom married him in the first place.

I jus****ched the "In defense of food" show on PBS OnDemand.  The nonsense never ends.

If you find this episode of my 600 pound life, please let me know.

There is an episode (end of the first season or beginning of the second one).  I remember that it had no patients, but was about the Dr. N and the show itself.  It showed that Dr. N's son is the producer and filmer of the show.  That he thought it would take a year and the first season ended up taking 7 years to do.  It has interviews with Dr. N where he says that surgery is the only hope for many of the people who are 600 pounds, and many do not have long to love without the surgery.  He was not happy that most surgeons withhold the surgery from those who need it the most, but he has developed an approach that will treat those who will do the work.  It is a fascinating episode, but I guess because there are no patients it is not shown much. I thought is was the best show explaining weight loss surgery from a medical necessity perspective.

Thanks.

Sharon

I have season 2 on Hulu, so I'll look and see if this episode is included.

I have Amazon & my 600 pound life for every season featured 2 people, the only season they didn't feature 2 people was the first episode of this season Moments of Truth. It was really a recap of memorable patients Dr Now operated on & treated over the years.

Sounds silly, but I pay the extra $3/month so that I don't have any commercials on my Hulu because the food ones were making me CRAZY!!!!  LOL
