OK I thought I would post my recent discovery... because you know you all need new bras.... LOL

I just bought new bras at the beginning of December, and all of a sudden I lost 2 inches in my band size. ugh. Not wanting to even spend $18-20 just because I maybe having PS in the near future....

I discovered Marshalls and TJ Maxx have really cheap bras. I mean $5.99- $6.99- $7.99-$8.99. Not all of them, but a decent selection.

I think all of them are under $20. I had never looked here before because I would never have fit into any of them. I think the largest they go is 38DD/DDD.

Granted this is Marshalls, so hit or miss and you have to be in the mood to scour the racks. But I got 1 $6.99 Bali bra, and am going to go look at TJ Maxx today...

Now that being said, you can get some good prices on Amazon too, and if they are selling it they have free returns if it doesn't work. All sizes available.

I also love Soma. they are wonderful helping you there. They have one style of bra that is regularly 2/$60 but then I have gotten a coupon on top of that and bought them for around $22 each.

EDIT: Kathy S.'s response reminded me that you can use bra extenders for when you are getting smaller too. I was in SOMA last summer and wasn't quite into the smaller size, but didn't want to buy the bigger size because I knew I would be out of it soon. The sales woman suggested using the extender on the smaller size until I lost the weight. Worked like a charm...

Thanks for sharing!  This was a big problem for me and as we all know they make "expanders" to make bras bigger but I have never seen anything to make them smaller.

Congratulations on the inches lost. YOU GO GIRL

Kathy see my edit! You can use extenders on the way down too!

I bought bras without underwires for the first time in probably 25 years. I'd always worn them. I went from training bras to under wires..bahaha. ( The girls flourished overnight when I was 9. )  I always needed that extra support, and even after the weight loss-and major loss to the girls-I still bought and wore under wire bras just because I was so used to them. I didn't care that the bra cups were mostly empty..that's why God invented bra inserts, right?

Man, the girls are super happy today, and they haven't even fallen out the bottom of my bra yet. Yay!

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

One warning, though-- be prepared to spend at least an HOUR trying stuff on, there are so many options! And if you find something that you like, but you need a different size, too bad :(

Yeah, I feel like all of a sudden the bands on all of my bras are too loose.  I must go shopping!
