My morning workout usually goes as follows, I'll read the posts and comments about the various subjects with my morning egg.

Then, during my 2 mile walk and then weights, I'll consider and contemplate the things I've seen on here.

I've come to this conclusion. Since WLS is a "re-birth" of sorts. Then I am a new person, a baby, a wee bairn. I've done the math involved, and now realize that, a WLS patient ages at about; one year to every actual month. So, I'm like a five year old child, IN WLS YEARS.

Therefore, I should be this way. Impertinent, check. Sophmorish, check. Capable of ******g off large numbers of people, CHECK!

But how can I be part of the stream, and give great advice, WHEN I'M 5 DAMN YEARS OLD? Hala or Grim or Kat will give advice after I do, and I literally feel like the geico caveman. I SHOULD...I'M FIVE!!!

There is honestly so much good here, that I just am glad to be a part of it. So many great mentors are here daily to help with any number of issues. Alot of times answering the same question daily. I do have issues that have been dealt with here by experts. Something helped me come out of my funk...... Anti-depressants, AND something here, I should say.

And there's this nagging new sleepterbation thing....Nevermind. Next time.

Gary - Using your calculations I'm actually 31 years old - if only I still looked like it! HA!  At my chronological age of 31 I was pretty damn stupid about life, didn't have anything really figured out and had another 10 years of hard knocks to go through before I even got a clue.  And then it was another 10 years before I got WLS!

Damn...it takes some of us a looooooong time to grow up

Love the months to years thing!  So at "39", I'm not a wise elder and certainly not a baby, so I'm declaring my current age status as BABE ;-)

At 29 years since my VBG and 5 years since my revision to RNY... I don't even want to do the math.  I'd be dead by now.

I hope you know I meant that your advice is like that of a wise person. Not an old person.
