At first, I went to a local farmers market where is a coffee stand that has an amazing selection of loose teas.  I got an ounce or 2 of all the non-caf ones to start.  I like many of them.

But alot of time I can;t be bother and just get a diet peach snapple.  I usually make a big thing of reg decaf tea and cut the snapple half and half so it is not so sweet.

Good luck.  Following directions is a pain, but I can attest, it leads to great success.  You are getting a good start!!  Good luck with you journey and the New Year!!!

I drink only decaf coffee and tea, prepared with my Keurig.  My teas of choice are green, Mandarin Spice, Early Morning, and Earl Gray.

For 50+ years I have always preferred black coffee.  However, starting in my pre-op surgery period I've been drinking my coffee using vanilla Premium Protein as a creamer.  It helps me solve the problem of getting my protein and at the same time it changes the taste of the protein shake, plus I'm getting my liquids!

I absolutely LOVE Teavana. I'm not at all a fan of plain black tea, but I really like the flavored stuff, especially if it's got some fruit flavor to it. If you've got a store nearby, it's a great place to check out, and it smells heavenly!

Right now I am drinking a very interesting mint base tea though there is so much else in with it that is not like drinking mint tea, called Candy Cane Lane by Celestial Seasonings. I love most fruity teas but nothing with black or green tea in it , all herbal. Tazo makes some nice ones, their rose tea is rather good as well. London Fruit and Herb Co do a individual teas and a mixed  box. If you have a Christmas Tree  Shoppe near you they carry it. So many teas..so little time! Enjoy your new adventure.

Oooh, the Celestial Seasonings is great stuff! All of their holiday tea is really good, they have an amazing gingerbread one and the sugar-cookie stuff is good too.

The sugar cookie flavor is my current hot favorite! It smells so good! It is hard to find though.

Walmart sells an ice tea maker for $19.99. We make two quarts a day with that thing, always experimenting  with flavor combinations. Usually there is one green tea bag and then something fruity. Our favorite place to find tea is actually Target. Teavana has great flavo combos (that I try to recreate), but I can't be bothered with loose teas.

I can't say I don't miss coffee, but iced tea is a step up from plain water for me.
