My hubby thought this would appeal to me (and it does).  Here is the synopsis.

Then, in the new series SKIN TIGHT, premiering Wednesday, January 6th at 10/9c, viewers will meet 12 Americans who have lost massive amounts of weight and are ready to undergo a full-body transformation through skin removal surgery. After hundreds of pounds of fat are shed through methods ranging from gastric bypass surgery to strict dieting and workouts, there is still a constant reminder of a person's once much heavier self. SKIN TIGHT takes an intimate look at people who have lost extreme amounts of weight and will go through extensive surgeries to remove up to 50-lbs of excess skin. Some individuals have six-packs, but it remains hidden under mounds of skin, leaving many feeling even more uncomfortable than when they were obese. With cutting edge technology and reconstructive surgical options, experienced surgeons will cut away massive amounts of skin, creating a full-body transformation. The reveal will not only change each subject's self-image, but will change their lives forever.

Wow very powerful teaser video for the show. TV is an interesting thing... if you have ever been on a show sharing your story you soon realize... producers will say "tell us your story" or video a day in your life, stuff and yes.... it's you and your story but they manipulate it and cut and paste for sensationalism/drama/ratings. I hope she is happy with the show and how they portray her... and... I'm assuming she was gifted plastics for participation and that went well and she's thrilled with being free of the excess skin. Best wishes to her.

I will tune in to the the first episode for sure.
