These darn Christmas cookies. I can't wait for Xmas to be over. December 26 it's all going in the garbage!  I can't wait to get back to my exercise routine and eating routine. It's chaos here in my house. Stress stress and more stress. Good news is January 6 it will be five months. I am down 60 lbs. I started out size 22/3x. I am now size 14/L. I bought myself a couple work outfits. Yay me. :). Did I mention I can't wait to get rid of these darn Christmas cookies?

Give the cookies to the squirrels!

I feel ya on the cookies.  I have a party at my inlaws today where there will be tons of food, and then I am hosting tomorrow.  At this point I'm just trying to maintain through this week so I can get back to normal.

I hope everyone has a very happy and safe Christmas Eve.

Last year when I was in weight loss mode, I was not tempeted.  At Thanksgiving I had a sliver of pie and Christmas the same thing.  Now in maintenence, let just say its a challenge.  I went to a Christmas party last night and didn't have any sweets.....but then they has mashed potatoes, and these little deep fried delightful thingys.....and wine......walking 3/4 of a mile to get my car this morning, I'll call that a good start in what I need to do to work it off.

Each step of this journey offers a new challenge.  Last year was much easier but we'll get through this.  Just have to stay strong and be commited to the new way of life.  Good luck!

Cookies are my Kryptonite, so I feel your pain. I was just left a tin of homemade cookies, which I will take and give away tomorrow. It's tough when they are in your house. I don't know about your cookies, but mine call my name. When I get home tonight, they are getting packed in the car with the rest of the presents.

The good news is that Christmas is almost here, and you are doing a fantastic job. Yay you is right!

We got a box of See's Candies in the mail last week, and I knew those chocolates shouldn't stay in the house, so I immediately took them to my neighbor's house.  They were very grateful and so was I, for getting rid of them.

I agree. Who is anyone to judge if someone should or shouldnt need the cookies. Her coworkers are adults and can decide for themselves. I work in a restaurant and we all bring in our leftover treats to share. Some indulge some don't but it's up to them. Don't waste them. Someone will appreciate them
