I saw a bumper sticker that says

I have a Marine and I am not afraid to use him

My wife has that same exact sticker too. And apparently, she's not afraid to use her's either.

One must be very careful with curbs they can be quite deadly if provoked!

I LOVE any story about my beloved Marine Corps. The one story that you're always told in boot camp in the Marines is of Charles Whitman. He was the Texas clocktower shooter in the mid 60's, he killed 16 total, but, 11 of those were from far atop the tower. It is a source of PRIDE to Marines that this man was such a great marksman.

I was stationed at the armory at Camp Pendleton in San Diego in the early 80's, and stories like this were an actual source of pride for Americans. Nowadays, I'm sorry to say that these brave men would most likely go to jail for some kind of hate crime for defending themselves. The current state of affairs in the U.S. is baffling and infuriating at times. Thanks Grim. Semper Fidelis
