New Years Eve - Do you avoid or adjust?

When big party dates come our way we have to make choices that most people don't.  I had surgery in August and when the holidays came around I made sure to remove any and all temptations I could (including not going).  I know myself and knew it was best for me.  Once I hit goal and felt strong about my changes in eating I enjoyed everything with adjustments.

So what is your game plan for success during New Years?  Share and help others.

My plan is to host myself so I have control.  I'm considering some crustless quiche, zucchini lasagna and possibly some homemade jalapeño poppers in my new air fryer.

I don't drink much, and never really have,  so that's not an issue for me.

My plan is a nice filet, shrimp and maybe crab legs ...   no vegetables or carbs.   It's just my fiance and myself, at home, it'll be fun!

Shrimp and crab legs would keep me at home too.  They are favorites of mine.

We're staying home this year, so don't know if we'll even stay up until midnight.  My husband does the cooking, so I'll let him surprise me with something yummy.
