12 Days Post-Op -- Depressed - VSG Huge Mistake
Wow, I'm kinda surprised that your surgeon even recommended WLS, even a V.S.G., for being only 60 lbs. overweight. Who was your surgeon?

I was 54 pounds overweight when I had the gastric sleeve. Don't worry, you will be able to get the nutrition you need. The thing about our journey is that our weight loss will be slower than others because we have less weight to lose. I had my surgery on July 30, 2015 and I was 204 at my highest weight. I have lost 42 pounds so far. So, you can see that my weight loss is a lot slower (in numbers not percentage) than others who have more weight to lose. 150 is a normal weight for my height, so I don't have far to go. I may go a month without losing any weight, that's not uncommon for me. You will not waste away. It will be okay.
