Cookbook recs?
DH and I are kind of getting in a rut with what we're cooking. I had gotten 2 After WLS cookbooks before surgery and I don't like either of them - one is the Dummies guide and the other is the Idiot's guide. Generally the recipes aren't great. We like the recipes from eggface's blog and those make up literally 95% of what we cook and we have a lot of those printed out. But we have to know what we want to cook and know what to search for on the blog so we would love a cookbook too to supplement those recipes. Any cookbooks that you guys use and love?
Oh and I had RNY - I know there are different surgeries and different restrictions on here. I do low carb and no pasta, bread, rice, etc. I guess I could buy a low carb cookbook?

I really love Paleo cookbooks. They're very WLS friendly most of the time. Nom Nom Paleo is probably my favorite. You can check out her website.

Same. Lots of great free paleo recipes online, via blogs, Facebook, and Pinterest.
OP, my biggest problem is finding the time to plan out a week using new recipes. I struggle with this, even with a lot of cookbooks at hand, so I try to use free resources when I can.

I'm lucky in that DH figures out what we're going to make the next week and puts the stuff on the grocery list. I do the shopping and we share the cooking duties right now. I HATE planning out what we're going to make. I would probably eat lunch meat and easy stuff if it were up to me because I hate it so much. But since he's in charge of it and he wants some new recipes I told him I'd ask on here for cookbook recs lol.
OMG. I LOVE pyrex too! But some of it was lost to merging of households too in "learning how to cook". He was particularily surprise to learn that you can SPLIT it you put frozen fish steaks in it and stick it in a hot oven.

There are a lot of places online to find recipes, type in "bariatric recipes" in a search engine.
The OH forum has a recipe section that people post recipes to
Some recipes you may have to adjust to be more sleeve/rny friendly
Here are a few sites I have saved.. good luck in finding something you like
