Hi all, I have a question about which multivitamins you take.  I take Celebrate multi-complete with iron chewable twice daily.  It makes me feel so nauseous. I make sure that i take it with food but still makes me feel sick for about an hour after. Any recommendations?

Are you getting plenty of fluids?  The nausea may be more related to dehydration than vitamins, and it happens to new post ops so fast!

You also want to be taking your multi and iron seperately if your multi contains calcium, for calcium and iron fight against each other during digestion.

I am getting my fluids in thankfully no problem there.  I take my calcium at same time as my multi with iron, I will try not taking them together and see what happens. Thanks!!!

I take Centrum chewable multivitamins, with 18g of iron. It has a pleasant orange flavor and has never made me nauseous. My main iron is taken at night before bed.

I'm almost two years out and still take a chewable because multis make me so nauseous. They were making new dry heave on occasion!

I love a trader joes multi that was mentioned here months ago. It's their High Potency Chewable. Been using it since I was a few months out!

I use Celebrate chewable multi WITHOUT Iron.  I take my iron separately before bed -- calcium 3 x during the day.

Are there any chewable multi's out there that do NOT taste like sweet-tarts or baby aspirin? I am taking my multi every morning (and my calcium chewables at lunch and dinner), but the multi makes me gag. I have never liked sweet-tarts or baby aspirin (or anything with that tart flavor).
