Dear Santa

Please give me and the OHers continued good weight losses and good health.  Also, if you have time and room in your bag, I would love it if you could bring us all smaller clothes, including underwear.  Nothing fancy, just nice everyday work casual things, even used clothing will be great!

Also, Santa, I'm sorry but this year instead of the traditional milk and cookies, I will leave you a delicious protein bar and a glass of skim milk.  I no longer keep unhealthy food items in my house.  Plus, not to offend you but you can stand to lose a few pounds too. I want to help keep you around for many centuries to come.

Merry Christmas to all!

Dear Santa,

Please give me patience to deal with people who tell me that I "could stand to lose a few pounds." It's not kind and it makes me feel bad, and I doubt I'm the only one.

I can't even imagine.  You just had a baby for gods sake.  What do they think?  That you are some kind of celebrity who jumps off the delivery table at her pre-pregnancy weight?

I used the baby weight excuse for a long, long time.  I think my youngest was about 10 before it wouldn't work any more.

It went like this "I wish I could lose these pregnancy pounds".  "Oh, how old is your baby?"  "Ten".  Rolls eyes.

I'd describe him as a negative Nelly. Some people can't be happy,  no matter what.
