Soft/Pureed Food Stage
I will be graduating to soft/pureed food on Tuesday. Is this basically baby food (infant stage) consistency? I'm at a loss as to what and how to prepare for this stage.

About that consistency, but I never ate baby food.
I ate very moist tuna salad or Ricotta Bake (I think there is an Eggface recipe), I mixed some ricotta, Parmesan, an egg, some Italian seasonings, topped with mozzarella and a little pasta sauce and baked.
it is like lasagne without the noodles. 1/4 cup was a meal.
Many folks eat retried beans with a little melted cheese at that stage.
I introduced Greek yogurt at that stage.
So, for me, a typical day was
B- 1/2 carton of Greek yogurt
L- 3oz of tuna with low-fat mayo
D- 1/4 c of ricotta bake
S- the other 1/2 of the yogurt
Plenty of water and if needed, you can add a protein drink in there
I never ate baby food. Did as the other poster said, ricotta bake, refried beans and cheese...or just chopped things really tiny and added some broth or gravy.

Soft and pureed were two different stages in my plan. This is where I was a renegade because I refused to puree anything. I just ate things of soft consistency mashed out. I.e. Turkey meatball with sauce and ricotta. Eggs/egg beaters, corn beef hash, chicken salad (i did run the chicken through my ninja). There weren't a bunch of options, but after 5 weeks of liquids, I was in heaven with what I did have.

I was allowed to have a little thicker than baby food but your body will tell you if it's too heavy... those little personal mini food processors are great... less cleanup then the big family size monsters and I think a good investment I still use mine often for things.

Will you just come prepare my meals for me? What brand of a personal mini food processor do you recommend?
