I am at 165ish and I was at 330ish.  I had RNY in 2009 and it's taken me this long because I have to exercise and carefully track my eating.  I had a span of a few years when I didn't and I gained 20lbs.  It's been you know what getting them off.  Anyways, I would have thought that I would be settled here but honestly I'm not.  I think I could stand to lose another 15...so that's what I'm shooting for.  I've had to cut calories and really watch even more closely than I was and it is so hard at the moment, but I am pushing through.

If you think about a goal of: "Have a healthy relationship with food and your body."   This is not just a number on a scale and you might be able to define a broader set of goals where you obtain a peaceful co-existance.  I'm still working on it, but this approach takes weight (and other numbers - cholesterol, A1C, etc) as well as the attitudes and behaviors that go along with weight stability.  The long term maintainers have found what works for them.
