Soft Foods - What Was Your First Food?
on 12/14/15 4:14 pm
Greek yogurt or a few spoonfuls of tuna salad ... Really once I decided to have surgery, I lost interest in 'eating for sport' and food became a means to an end.
Eating became like a job for quite a while ... I put it on a schedule, I had a few go-to things that went down well and satisfied me. I didn't want to have to think about food.
To this day, I keep a very boring breakfast and lunch ... Not much variety, just fuel.
It helped me to separate fuel from thinking about food all the time.
You can start oatmeal on the soft food stage.

Next week I get to advance to soft foods. One of the first things I plan on having is refried beans with cheese on top. What was the first food you had?
I had to blend my food for 4 weeks. Yes, that meant hot or cold foods. Cottage cheese, tuna fish salad, scrambled egg, pudding with protein powder added. It has been so long ago I really cannot remember.
