I was never one to indulge in oatmeal, I really didn't like it. That all changed this morning, my 1st full day on full fluids. I am sitting here slowly savoring each small bite of this delicious meal, even as watery as it is! Yum, yum, yum.

I'm sure there's a generous sprinkling of protein powder on top. That makes everything healthy.

I never knew that runny oatmeal could be considered a "full liquid".  Different plans for different folks, I guess.  You'll want to bump up the nutrition with some protein powder.

Be careful, oatmeal which is a solid, doesn't become a liquid no matter how much water you add to it. It might be on your plan, but the physical properties of oatmeal aren't going to change.

Tried oatmeal for the first time since surgery the other day. Used 1/2 packet of Chex apple cinnamon and stirred some cottage cheese into it . Not bad but something I will do often due to the carbs.
