Hello friends:

What books do you recommend reading about WLS in general? I've read Stranger Here by Jen Larsen. It was quite good.

Thanks,

I made a list of resources - but I haven't read any yet.  Just a post-WLS cookbook - it had a great pic of broiled scallops on the front, and I love scallops. - Eating Well after Weight Loss Surgery, by Bontempo

Here are some of the I love the titles: (I don't even have the books, just love the titles - found them on ebay)

The stranger in the Mirror

Exodus from Obesity

Fat Hurts - how to maintain your weight loss after WL surgery

Let me know what you think of the one you're reading.

The Big Book on Bariatric Surgery by Alex Breacher. He also has book on each individual surgery. There is lots of good info for before surgery right through to life after surgery. I know Amazon carries them, so does Bariatric Pal and of course there is always e-bay.
