Nobody here has a medical degree. So I would suggest you ask your surgeon. It is the safest answer you will get.
My surgeon left his practice mid-November and a new one hasn't taken over so I'm kind of in limbo at the moment. That's why I was asking here. If there are people with ADD and taking Adderall, they would have experienced my question.

The problem with that though is that we all are different. There could be other mitigating factors in play in your case. Do you have an MD you could talk to about it? I personally like to leave all medical questions up to the professionals.
I don't have a MD... I go to a clinic and the NP that I saw this past weekend gave me the prescription but has got no clue how to about bariatric patients and honestly didn't seem to care.

Well up to you but I would honestly try to find a surgeon who was available. It is your body.
