23 more hours to bladt off

My day has finally come,,in 23 hours I will be laying on the surgery table..long road but worth it,,getting all my stuff done around my house today..getting excited but also really nervous...have a great team and surgeon,,Dr Schafer at Cleveland clinic...tomorrow starts my new life....

Congratulations, Terri. I wish you the best of luck. You'll do great, as long as you follow your doctor's instructions to the letter. In times when you feel frustrated, just remember to keep your eye on the prize. 

Dr. Schafer is an excellent surgeon.  I had Dr. Kroh at the Cleveland Clinic.  It was truly the best thing I ever did.  

I was pretty stressed before surgery - and the morning of, I felt shuffled - go here for the urine test (mandatory in NJ if you are female and under 58 - preg test) and blood test.  Go up this elevator, get undressed here, etc.  But when I was in pre-op and I could see a big old-fashioned round clock.  When I felt the first wave of sedation. I looked up - 7:42. And thought - 742, my new lucky number!

Thank you everyone..I am reviewing a lot of post here ..refreshing myself...and taking notes over and over..just a big thank you to everyone on here for all your support and advice...I love reading everything...and it is so very  helpful...thank you again,,back to reading and should I say in between running to the potty after drinking my golightly...lol
