My RNY will take place in 2 days. Today I got a haircut and a pedicure. So now I'm officially all ready and prepared to get this show on the road.

Man you are lucky! I had surgery in the day where they would not let you wear nail polish. You are going to be looking good! LOL

Some hospitals still do not allow nail polish during surgery. They want to check the color of the nails to be sure you are getting enough oxygen.

i was only allowed clear nail polish :) How exciting ^^ Remember when youre in a bit of pain, this is worth it ^^

In the past whenever I've had surgery. I was always told no nailpolish. During my pre-op class, 2 weeks ago, I asked about polish on toenails. I was told it would be okay.
