OMG! Grim, we are so happy you are here with us!  Just to add how important it is to have those that "know" WLS treating us.  If they don't they can misdiagnosis and lead to death.

I am so happy you are ok

So glad you are okay Grim! If you sparkle, you are definitely a vampire.  You burn 650 calories for every pint of blood you donate. Consider your 6 or 7 pints a donation to the Porcelain Gods. So make sure to track those burned calories in MFP. However, not sure what type of exercise you would put that under, cardio or strength training.

Take care! So happy that you are back online to keep the rest of us inline.

Hope you're feeling better Grim.  I reached my goal weight (and really blew past it) fairly quickly but I've had 2 other surgeries since my bypass that keep me from slacking off and neglecting my vitamins and bloodwork.  Hearing this is just another reason

Surgery date: 2/4/15

Highest weight: 315. Pre-op diet weight: 289.  Surgery weight: 260.  Current weight: 138  Goal weight: 160

Holy (bloody) **** Grim, you paint a very vivid word picture. I am so sorry that happened to you, but glad things turned out okay in the end. Get it? In the end?  Take care of yourself. This place wouldn't be the same without you.

Tastes like the donor just had barbecue. I am feeling a little feminine though.
