Thank you for your encouragement. I just had my RNY surgery a week ago, and would love to hear from other people how they handled the first couple of weeks on a fluid diet without feeling deprived and finding it difficult.

I didn't feel deprived because it didn't take much to feel full. Unfortunately it is difficult learning new habits and letting go of the old ones. What go me through the first 3 months was the encouragement I found here and everyone telling me it gets better and easier. It did. And the difficult times are worth where I'm at today. Stay in touch here, there is a wealth of wisdom.
