That "a-ha!" moment
I have so many questions for this poster! I hate when people deactive before I get answers lol! I need to know how far out she is specifically because 1000 calories sounds crazy! I know my NUT who I saw once was not as helpful as the collective advice I got here so I can't help but think this NUT is along the lines of mine. I'm still doing well and losing at 8 months out on between 500-700 calories and because of that I haven't raised my calories in months. I haven't been feeling super hungry or anything so I haven't increased. I need the deactivated member to reactive and answer questions!

She is 3 months out and it sounds like she is having the typical 3-month stall. She should just stay the course, in my opinion, and not increase her calories.

HAHAHA -- I love when someone with 4 months experience thinks she knows everything... and more than a whole line of EXPERIENCED SUCCESSFUL LONG TERM VETS. Yep, she should ignore those people. Great advice!

Good thing that you're not weak and insecure and typed "Ouch."

Unless you're working out like an athlete, exercise is improving your fitness level but it's not making you thin. A lack of exercise didn't make us fat either. It was eating too much. To get and stay thin, we need to eat a whole lot less. Especially when we've been morbidly obese.
General rule of thumb - If you want to take some of your excess weight off, keep your calories up or increase them. If you want to get all your excess weight off, keep your calories at 600-800. Sorry, but that's how it's worked for most of us.
