I am 2 months post-op today and am always nauseous after eating. Its getting to the point where I would just rather not eat at all than feel like this. Any suggestions?

That should not be happening and you need to talk with your medical team.

My surgeon had me use OTC Prilosec post-op for the first six weeks.  You might want to ask your surgeon about this option.

Ask to have your Gall bladder checked.  It is a common problem post op.  Some folk's gall bladders cant process all the fat their body is shedding.  Hope this helps.

I had constant nausea that lasted until they removed my GB...

Dehydration can also cause nausea.  Even if you drink enough but not get enough salt - minerals - you may be dehydrated.

I am 3.5 years post op, I still have nausea sometimes. first, if I drink fluids too soon after eating. I have to wait 20-30 min before drinking anything.

Also if I eat anything with even slightly too much fat in it, even something like cheddar cheese, for example, I have to have marble or mozzarella.

Also if I ate past my feeling full, I get really nauseated, even one bite more, I have to take it slow and when I get that full feeling, I stop, eating, take a break and then take another bite if I feel OK,

I was told by my surgeon that the nausea is normal, that it was up to me to manage my diet around it, he did give me some medication to help, called metonia but sometimes it doesn't help.

Hope this helps

It could be many things including severe reflux or a hernia or dehydration.  Get to your surgeon asap.  You shouldn't be feeling this way.
