I totally forgot about tuna packets. I relied on those, deviled eggs and egg salad a LOT

This is it!  This is the spirit! You got it!  

I am going to be honest.  I hate processed food so much that I requested AND got a meat slicer from wiliam sonoma so I can slice the chicken/hams turkeys I roast. Most people arent as nutty as I am.  But I am fighting as hard as I can for myself AND my husband. 

You can also shred the meat with forks and make chicken salad!  Dice ham fine and have ham salad

I also make chicken divan.  It is chicken, cream sauce (with whipping cream) served on a BIG BED of broccoli. You can control the amount of sauce you add. Just keep it seperate from teh chicken and you can drizzle it or really gloop it on. 

Remember to track calories though! I use mine as a drizzle.  Hubby is like your hubby..he really piles it on!

You are doing great and don't realize it!! You have lost 27 pounds since surgery....that's more than 13 pounds a month....more than 3 pounds a week...1/2 pound a day!!!  Awesome!!!  

 

My advice:  stay off the scale!!  If you really want to weigh yourself ,do it only once a week.  All the scale does is make you crazy.

 

I'm almost 10 years out from surgery. and have maintained a 165 pound loss...work your program and it'll work for you!!
