Yes! There were points, and there still are...when I have to do this for my daughter, because I never took a second notice for myself...so do it for her. Do you have a gym membership? Get one for her and go together. Do the classes and create a bond. I see my daughter who is 12, weighs about 150lbs now, and that's what I did at the end of this summer. Since school started, I haven't made her workout, and I need to. This is a great reminder to me about that. Good luck!
I'm several years older than you and have some really good muscle development (not just according to me - my massage therapist always comments about it!). I sure as heck wasn't this way a couple of years ago. So yes, it can definitely be done. I do TRX and the weight machines at the gym (I do one or the other 2-3 times a week). Muscle develops very quickly if you work hard at it. I could tell a difference within about three weeks. Go for it!!
