One Year ago today..... 145lbs and no hunger!!!
It has been an intense ride. One year ago I was going into an OR to get my insides re-routed weighing 375lbs size 48 pants & 3XL shirt. Fast forward one year and I'm sitting in my office weighing 230lbs wearing 38 pants and Large Shirt. The most surprising about the surgery is that I have not felt real "Hunger" since the surgery and have to remind myself to eat during the day. I still get episodes of "Head Hunger" every night before going to sleep, but am able to satisfy with just a Yogurt.
Surgeon said it is very rare not feeling hunger and I am glad he cut the "Wrong" nerves. I really hope those nerves don't heal with time.
Thanks to all here for the support and the post that have helped in guiding me in the journey.

I think that's great! My RNY was done on 8/24/15 in the U.S. I too never feel hungry, and sometimes force myself to eat. I'm down to 309 from my surgery weight of 392. I hope to one day be as successful as you have been. I am wondering what sort of exercise do you do? I only walk and I'm stalling and need to mix it up a bit. Thank you for your story, it will inspire me to exercise until I reach my goal.
Gary, you are doing great. The tough part is going through the plateaus and keeping motivated. I am very active at work now and on a normal day walk 3mi and go up 10 flights of stairs (Not using elevators) while working. Besides that I do weight lifting three times per week and play soccer (Goalkeeper, so not much running) two times per week. My surgeon emphasized to do resistance training(Keeping the same weight and increasing reps) instead of muscle building. (Going up on weight with same reps) So, I do most of my weight lifting with 20# - 35# dumbells and a yoga ball instead of bench.

White Dove do you have to have supplemental B12? I know B12 deficiency after about 10 years is one of the reasons this surgery is not very popular but if B12 is all it takes it looks like a good procedure. How nice to not feel hungry. How do you remember to eat? Just eat when it is meal time.
