Go to protein?
So I was having no problem getting my daily protein in until about two weeks ago. I went to my dr.appointment and they said my protein was low. I said there must be something wrong bc I'm getting the 65 to 70 daily. When they dug deeper they said my premire protein drink was a concentrate and needed to be an isolate so my body wasn't absorbing all of the drink. I.have tried other drinks and don't like them. With not drinking those, I'm having a hard time getting my protein in. I KNOW there are lots of sites to look at for help, I was just wondering if someone was having a low protein day if they have a quick "go to" item they use to boost their levels. Thanks!
You could try a plain protein powder and mix it into other foods to up their protein. I really see around here 80g as the minimum even though they will tell you 60-80. Most people have no problem with absorbing Premier but you are right it is not isolate. 2 of the plains I've used are:

You don't have to use a whole scoop. Like if you are having a half a cup of cottage cheese and it has 15g add a little to bump it up over 20g. They say we don't absorb more than 30 at a time. Or it is soup weather, you can add to soup too.

ISOPURE. Clear, like gatorade, several varieties available at GNC to try then online for a better price. No carbs, they also make powders, etc.
Lots of people talk about Unjury.

I use unjury and syntrax nectar in the twisted cherry flavor. I can't do the milk based drinks every day. They make me sick but the unjury chocolate splendor mixes up smooth no grit and taste just like chocolate milk.

You can order single serving samples to see if you like the flavors. I highly recommend Chocolate Splendor and Chicken Soup.
The vanilla is good too but I've never used it plain, I've used it when making protein ice cream. They also have a strawberry one but I'm not a fan of fake-strawberry-flavored anything so I've never tried it.
I mix all of these with almond milk.
