Are you Missing Those Expensive and Fattening Starbuck's Lattes?
I found a new weakness....but it's okay, it's on plan. I was always a huge fan of coffee...decaf, black, no sugar. However, I haven't had a desire for coffee since going on the high protein, low carb plan.
I have felt like my Kuerig thought it was being punished through no fault of its own. Not wanting it to feel left out of my RNY journey, I thought I would try something out of my norm. I purchased a sample pack of decaf hazelnut coffee pods. This stuff is really good! I found if I add some vanilla Premier Protein and a little sweetener, it tastes like a latte. So good!! So once again my Keurig is happily cranking out happiness for me, now in the form of a skinny healthy latte.

Me too. I usually get a skinny mocha with SF caramel or a Flat White. I gave up coffee for a few months when I first had surgery, but couldn't stay away.
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

I think that whole coffee thing is a fad, and it's almost run its course.

I do a half scoop of Isopure espresso protein powder and a splash of Fairlife milk with my morning coffee, it's pretty good. I used to do a whole scoop of the powder but it does have a slight grainy feel if you don't dilute one scoop with at least 16oz liquid.
My Starbucks alternative is a good matcha green tea latte or frappe more cheaper and great nutritional values
