Ya whooooo...I got the call today! My RNY surgery is scheduled for the morning of 12/4. Color me very excited!!

Good for you! I had my RNY on august 24 and I'm already down 71 pounds. I walk alot, and eat much better now also. I'm new to this site too, so good luck and start trying out flavors or protein shakes now. Keep everyone informed!

very happy for you!!! I waited thru 2 denials, and 3 months past when i was expecting to have my surgery but finally got the approval call 2 and a half weeks ago..Surgery is next tuesday...Been in liquid diet mode almost 2 weeks...its not that hard!!!! I had a little trouble, and I men a little, a couple times when i was exposed to some of my past favorites, but overall has been going very well!!! Good luck to you in this phase of your journey!!!!
