Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

I think it can vary by provider. I had a few forms to fill out, not too long, and then I met with the psychologist. I was nervous about the appointment, but really didn't have to be as it turns out. You'll most likely be asked about whether you eat compulsively and feel that you can't stop, whether you think you have bulimia or binge-eating tendencies, a little about your family's background and health. I answered the questions as honestly as I could: I think they're trying to determine if someone needs additional help before they begin the weight-loss journey.
