Went to a concert last night and got taken aside by a manager because they didn't trust my ID. I had to show them my social security card to get in (apparently I could have faked a license, but not a SS card?). It's a 2-night concert too, so I may have to go through the same thing again tonight. I can't imagine why they were suspicious!

Great funny NSV! I too had this happen at the bank of all places, with my driver's licence. I had to show the teller my medical alert bracelet that says RNY Gastric Bypass Patient February 2015. hehehe.

I have never heard of a medical alert bracelet for the RNY? I had a card given to me.

They advise on a med ID bracelet indicating no NG tube.

How nice. I completely forgot the "no ng tube" thing. Apparently the hospital did, too. They stuck one down my nose Monday night. It's a miracle I survive these visits.

I really should get one of those made.

I look completely different now than in my current DL and I've never had a single person comment. Except for my hair color, since it's purple now.

Seriously. I mean I've lost over 200 lbs --- travel internationally going thru security... Not once. Weird how some people get comments nearly every day while those who've lost considerably more do not.
