Why can't we "cut and paste" anymore?

Since the "upgrade" I cannot cut and paste. This is super annoying for cross posting, answering specific questions, updating, etc. I have tried different browsers: safari, google chrome and firefox -- and different operating systems --- I have new stats to post on Grim's blood sugar results for the Quest bars and have put it off because writing the same post 2ce is a big waste of my time.

You can highlight and use Control C, but when you Control V to paste it comes out double. Then you have to highlight and Control C to cut out the second post.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

THANK YOU so much -- trying that now. Hadn't thought about trying shortcuts...

I just sent a message to "report problem" about this exact issue! It's aggravating as all get out! The recent upgrade has broken many aspects of this board. They should have left well enough alone...if it ain't broke, don't fix! Obviously the upgrade was not thoroughly tested before being released.

I am personally blown away at how horrible the ''upgrade'' is, how they could have rolled it out with so many bugs (didn't they test it?), how crazy slow they are at fixing the problems, and so on. Why don't they just roll it back to the last good version while they work on the fixes?

Really weak web work. Its been more than a week now. Fix it already!!!

Every single time OH has had an "upgrade" in the past 12 years it's been the same way. Apparently OH does not believe is ironing out the bugs BEFORE they implement an upgrade. I wish they'd stop trying to fix things that aren't broken---at least aren't broken until they start fiddling with them.

They DO test it - with actual users (aka victims), after rollout. Ha!

Like White Dove said, you can use ctrl-v on a desktop. On my tablet or phone, it's completely impossible.

Yay upgrade.

Yeah, this upgrade stinks. Apparently I am still not friends with myself and cannot see my profile. Does yours still say that, too??

Yes, I still can't see my own profile, or yours. I could have sworn we were friends. I'm sending you a request.
