I eat very very few veggies now. I need the room for protein. Seems to me when they invented the "all you can eat" salad bar, professing a "big salad" was healthier, everyone started becoming obese.
That said, don't look down on frozen or canned. The veggies and fruit and picked and canned or flash frozen at there freshest and ripest state.
