a good reason to have surgery sooner rather than later

Just saw my health benefits plan for 2016 and if I had put off surgery until then like I had thought about, It would have cost me an additional $1000 out of pocket since the co pays went up and the max out of pocket was increased. Then I looked back at 2014 and could have kicked myself - rates were a ton lower then!

That was my motivation... Fear of my job opting not to continue bariatric coverage. And now I gently encourage anyone on the fence to do it while they know their costs/coverage.
