NSV Blood Pressure
Before my surgery, my blood pressure was on the high end of normal, even with blood pressure meds. It was usually about 140/85. I'm now 2 months post-op from VSG, and with my BP gradually going down, I went to the doctor's office to have it checked. It was 96/57! My doctor called me today to tell me to go off of the medication that I have been on for over 20 years. She doubled it last year to get it down even farther, and now I get to stop it to see how my body responds without it.
This is so exciting and was my first goal. My next goal is to get off of my cholesterol medication.
Oh, and my blood sugar is no longer elevated and I'm no longer pre-diabetic. WhooHoo!
