Quite Pleased with Myself--NSV
So today I went to movie theatre to see the Martian. I brought my own water bottle with a protein shake as a back up. (plan, plan, plan).
Then after that the other 3 friends wanted to go for lunch... mind you, one of them had the sleeve 3 weeks after me (I am 4 1/2 months post op).
I'm the only one who ordered healthy. Steamed beef and veggies.
The waiter looked at me and said, "You do realize that there's no flavor. There is no sauce."
I glared at him and said, "Hey! I've lost over 100 pounds! I'm quite aware there's no sauce. I can't have that

I often ask for some butter, salt and pepper...and lemon... Small amount of buter adds so much flavor...

I don't eat beef - haven't in 40 years, but I find that Worchestershire sauce kicks chicken up without damage - but I am 9+ months post op, so all the healing is over.
