Depends...If you are doing this for fun or for your health. Remember there is usually regain. If your doctor says another 30(or more) I would go with them...They are usually right. When I went in for my pre op they said I was a medium frame. I just laughed at them...What, I was a high school lineman!! Sure enough they were right about my frame...You can look at my photos on my page. This is a life long journey...Changing the way you eat. I hit my goal...Started feeling good about myself and regained 40 pounds...Pepsi, candy, breads, fried, fast food...You get the idea. You are doing great...Work the tool you have been given. Follow the doctor's guidelines (orders) and you should be fine. Enjoy the ride.

You look great now. Did you talk to your surgeon about setting a goal? It's your body, and if you want to lost another 30 pounds, go for it!

Congratulations - you've done great!

Keep losing.. You still have enough fat. Healthy level body fat for men is 5-10%. Maintnace is a ***** It wOuld be nice if you have some "buffer" so if you gain 5-10 lbs... It would not be a disaster.

You have done a great job! Congratulations!

That said, I would vote for losing additional weight as long as you don't go below whatever is considered a healthy weight range for you. Sadly, it appears some regain should be planned for.

Great job!

You should do what you and your doc says. Remember its how you feel about yourself.

You look great, especially for having lost so much. The smile on your face tells is all! Did you have plastics done already? If not, your skin elasticity is superb! My surgeon wants me to get down to about a BMI of 22 to give me some buffer for regain. I think you could still lose more and not look sickly! If you have not added resistance training to your post-op exercise routine, I would do that. Even though muscle will weigh more, the definition you will get will look great, not to mention all the other health benefits of having lots of lean body mass!

I think you look great, keep going. regain happens and it can sneak up on a person so quickly.

Not sure how you plan telling your body to stop.

Just keep doing what you are doing and let your body (not your wife!!) tell you when it's done ...
