started eating too much and wrong foods..best way to stop

This is my problem time too. The best thing I've found is to just be busy doing something else. I'm getting really into grown-up coloring books. It's relaxing and impossible to eat while doing.
A few suggestions...
1. Plan your meals. Eat what you've planned.
2. Plan a snack such as sugar free jello for after dinner if you "need" something.
3. Switch up your eating patterns - eat an earlier dinner, or a later dinner, or your bigger meal at lunch time.
4. Learn to knit (my latest pursuit)
5. Walk after dinner.
6. Drink a full liter of water in the evening.
