ADD/Anxiety Meds post RNY Gastric Bypass

I am almost 4 yrs post op from RNY Gastric Bypass. I stopped smoking before my surgery & started back about 7 months post op. I'm trying to quit all together again so have started vaping. My primary md & bariatric surgeon are aware & recommended that I vape as this alternative will help me quit & also healthier than cigarettes. I'm wondering though if by taking such long hits into my lungs I'm pulling in too much air as I've noticed my stomach has expanded. I worry about gas in my ouch & expanding it. I would like some insight/opinions on if this could be causing the pouch to swell. I try to breathe the vape in via the lungs & not swallow it but am still concerned. Please no judgement on smoking as I know I should have never picked it back up post op.

If your surgeon suggested vaping, s/he would be the one to contact for further clarification/info.

vaping is just a crutch to allow you to pretend you are stopping smoking.

The obvious answer here,is stop inhaling anything, vapor or smoke and your problem will likely solve itself.

also your post title asks about add meds but you say nothing about that in the post.

If your taking too big hits, you should probably update your Mod. Think of those e-ciggs they sell at any corner store. I would never suggest those to anyone, as they are made by Big Tobacco. But, I wouldn't be able to suck a hit of a pos like that. Update your Mod, which will allow you to lower your nicotine level.

Good luck!

Vaping is not smoking, but everyone I know has taken on a worse habit after WLS. Keep Vaping, there are too many other vices you could turn to.
