Pre-Surgery NSV!

I was plugging in my recent labs into a lab work spreadsheet, and comparing my numbers from January to my pre-op blood draw from a few weeks ago.  My 3 months of self-prescribed dieting before surgery has paid off! I am no longer pre-diabetic!  My A1-C is in a normal range!

I'm so incredibly happy!  Diabetes runs in both sides of my family, and I have been "at risk" for many years. I used to think of diabetes as an eventuality for me... but I have dodged the bullet by making good choices and focusing on eating healthy to prepare for my weight loss surgery!

HUGS TO MY OH FAMILY! Y'ALL RECEIVE PARTIAL CREDIT FOR BEING SO INSPIRING!

It's so wonderful to read about your achievement

Diabetes is one of those diseases overweight people hear about a lot. Great milestone breaker for, and motivation for the rest of us!!
