Trying to decide

I am thinking of having gastric sleeve surgery, what are the pros & cons? What is the best way to proceed?

The best thing I did was to read through all the posts in the vertical sleeve thread. Watch as many you tube videos as you can stand (some are better than others).

and asking q's on the surgery specific forums (click forums, surgery types)

Click on the search icon (magnifying glass) on the tool bar and search VSG vs. RNY and/or Duodenal switch.  It will list all the threads that have come up on this topic over the last several years.

Go up to the Forums section and then to the Vertical Sleeve group.  They are very active.  Next, check out the wls regrets and the wls revisions forums and see posts from those who are not singing praises anymore.
